“I have seen this work positively impact so many lives, it is my greatest joy to share it” - Mandy
The term “Sound Meditation” comes from her teachers Alexandre Tannous and David Shemesh.
Brilliantly named, a Sound Meditation implies engagement versus passivity.
In Sound Meditations, we retrain our mind and nervous system through a combination of breathwork, vocalization, and a variety of 12+ harmonic sound healing instruments. It is a pleasure for the senses and a deep journey into relaxation and centeredness.
By learning how to listen, one learns how to silence the mind. From a scientific standpoint, it also drops our brainwaves from Beta to the very therapeutic Alpha, Theta and Delta. It helps us break out of the entrainment/habituation of the brain, make new neural connections, soothe the vagas nerve, and release physical stress/fatigue.
Breathwork Training
Mandy has studied breathwork through The Breath Center. She can facilitate prana yama, holo- tropic and several other styles.
Meditation Training
Mandy has studied meditation through her integrative psychology degree and as a breathwork and sound facilitator. She can adapt the meditation based on the individual or groups need.
What is Sound Healing?
Sound healing is the cross section of ancient technology, spirituality and modern science.
It uses made sounds and instruments to create specific frequencies, harmonics, and sequences to physiologically, psychologically, emotionally and spiritually benefit people.
Sound Healing, through various techniques and technologies, is the educated use of sound to reach goals and wellness in the human system – including the expansion of consciousness. Sound Healing is founded on the premise that all matter is vibrating at specific frequencies. Science has proven that sound, or vibration, has a strong impact upon individuals.
